Hey all, thanks for the feedback here! This feature is on our roadmap for Q2.I'll update this post as we progress on development.

This would be a HUGE time saver for both the ticket purchaser and the event planning team.

Also the ability to add bidders manually, if they haven't registered before the event. They could get an email saying "you're registered, please fill out your CC info here."
This is a MAJOR problem with this software for those of us running live events including live auctions. If folks don't preregister, they can't bid in the live auction/have a bid paddle pre-made for them.

Beth Williams: Yes this is a big issue! I am dealing with it now. Any suggestions on how to handle in the meantime?

Kaylee Fisher: there is no work around currently. I ended up not using givebutter for the live auction component of my event. It was really frustrating and I’ll probably find a different server next year which allows this for seamless check out.

Great suggestion!

When a ticket is purchased, the purchaser should be prompted to register for the auction!

I have a lot of people contacting our office, staff, and board members about why they need to register for both tickets to our gala and the silent auction. It's diverting resources from working on the event and causing undue stress to our staff, volunteers, and supporters.

Maybe they could click a button to register for auction if they want when they purchase tickets.
