Option to set the sender email address that automated receipts are sent from, instead of <no-reply@givebutter.com>.

Is there any progress on this Kait Cogswell Jesse Saldana? The subject line is both vague and confusing, especially for free events when people don't actually give anything. We have an event coming up that has important information in the confirmation email, but without being able to customize the subject line, our registrants will very likely miss that important info.

great idea and best for donors to be reminded of the organization they support

The option exists for emails sent via Engage, but apparently not for automated receipts. I agree there needs to be the option.

Oh! Didn’t even pay attention to where receipt came from. Should it be from our nonprofit?

Carmen Meurer: Yes I should be from our nonprofit. Always.

Thank you for posting this Kait!
My charity is currently considering transitioning from donorbox to Givebutter for our online donation forms and this feature is hard to give up in donorbox. Right now when a donor donates via donorbox, donorbox automatically emails the donor a receipt that shows as coming from my charity with a customizable subject to thank them for donating to my charity. When donating via Givebutter, the receipt says it is coming from Givebutter and the subject says "your receipt from givebutter". This can cause confusion for donors. I think this feature should be standard for all plans or for a small monthly cost because the donor did not give to Givebutter. They gave to the charity! It would be like if you shopped at Target and used your visa and your receipt said "thank you for shopping at visa". This feature is free in donorbox. Check out the differences below:
