Transaction reports currently only reference data stored directly on the transaction record, even when a transaction is linked to a company contact. This limits reporting and prevents organizations from including critical details such as payment method, soft credit status, and company-related attributes in transaction-based reports.
Organizations need the ability for transaction reports and filters to account for contact-level information (including company contacts), so reports accurately reflect how transactions were made and who they’re associated with. This would support better reconciliation, finance reporting, and automation (including recurring reports) without requiring manual weekly workarounds.
