Feedback from Beyond Vision 501(c)3:
A user who is blind and relies on a screen reader shared that Givebutter’s tables in Transactions and Contacts are currently not accessible. When navigating these tables, the screen reader reads each cell only as “link” instead of announcing the actual content (such as donor name, address, or transaction details). This makes it very difficult to search, review, or use Givebutter as a CRM.
They noted that other parts of Givebutter, especially campaign and form creation, are intuitive and accessible, and they would love to use Givebutter as a full-time CRM. This issue is a major blocker not just for their organization, but for multiple nonprofits with blind professionals in fund development roles.
Improving table semantics, labels, and screen-reader-friendly navigation would make Givebutter far more usable and inclusive for visually impaired users and expand adoption across accessibility-focused organizations.

This really needs to be a priority. The donation forms need to be both screen reader accessible and users should also be able to navigate them with keyboards.
