I haven’t noticed that our auction items’ aspect ratios are changed. I believe they remain the same as what we uploaded. As for “fit the screen”, do you mean to have a bidder see images full screen? I find that the images could be seen larger in order to give users a better, more impressive view of the item. This would increase bidding. Vertical 2-d artwork is especially hard to see. Having details does help, but the option for a user to click on the image and have it fill the screen as much as possible would help. A vertical image for horizontal screens could be sized to fit width-wise. The bidder could scroll up and down to see all parts of the image. A slide indicator, or plus/minus signs could allow the user to make the image bigger or smaller in full screen mode.
