Auctions

Ability to include another CSV field column for the Custom Bidding Date & Time when exporting auction items.

Provide bidders a self-serve way to contact the auction admin in case they have questions about location, fulfillment, terms of use, etc., without having to contact support for additional assistance.

Use case: Organizations running events with both a silent/live auction and a paddle raise currently require attendees to complete two separate payment flows — one for auction items won and one for paddle raise commitments. This creates friction for attendees and increases the likelihood of missed payments. The ability to combine both into a single payment request or checkout would significantly streamline the attendee experience and improve payment collection rates at live events.

Allow organizers to customize the wording of Givebutter’s payment request emails for pending auction payments and paddle raise commitments. This would help organizations tailor the messaging to match their event and communication style.

The ability to see auction items and their current prices in the Live Display. This can be shown as a ticker across the screen or as a slideshow.

Adding feedback from ServeHAITI based on their recent silent-auction event with nearly 50 items. They need a bulk-printable, reusable auction-sign template that can be customized for in-person events. Ideally, organizations could choose their layout and include fields such as item name, description, QR code, starting bid, bid increment, fair market value, Buy It Now price, donated by, and photo. Neither current export fully supports this use case, so ServeHAITI had to build an external workflow to create its signs. A customizable template or drag-and-drop builder would allow organizations to create practical event signage using data already stored in Givebutter.

The ability for ticket buyers to automatically be registered as bidders to help save time.

In auction registration flow, add a checkbox that allows donors to select if the billing address is the same as shipping.

Currently, the thank-you message sent to auction winners when they win an item and proceed with fulfillment details cannot be customized. It would be great to give admins the ability to edit and personalize this automated message.

Ability to factor shipping cost into items / per item transactions
