Jennifer Gard: Great question! For those not on Plus, we still have our Zapier integration that can enable syncing to QuickBooks. We are definitely looking into if and how to make our native integration more broadly available, but for now (including the current beta and beyond) it will be reserved for our Plus offering.

Excited to share that our native QuickBooks Online integration is now available in beta to anyone with a Givebutter Plus subscription! Just be sure to enable the Early Access Beta toggle in your account settings, and it will show up in the Integrations section.

Tom Spindle are company contacts enabled as customers? We would love to get rid of Zapier but we won't be able to unless companies can be listed as customers in QBO. Incidentally, company contacts have created a lot of difficulty for our financial tracking. We were initially thrilled to have them because we receive a significant amount of our contributions from companies, we want them to be accurately recognized in public-facing campaigns, and we need the payor name to be consistent across financial databases. However, company contacts in their current form are useless for pledges, requiring us to manually reconcile QBO when a payment comes in (even with Zapier automation) because a pledge can't be created in a company name. It also cuts off communication with companies in Engage since those contacts can't be utilized there. We pushed to get the company contacts created, and now have been significantly impacted by the lack of functionality of those contacts. We were actually better off having to use a placeholder for a last name and having all individual contacts. Please make all contacts consistent. We pay for Givebutter Plus, and we really need full use of the platform for all of our contacts.

To your QBO question, yes, transactions in Givebutter from company contacts are synced as customers in QBO via our integration.
