Ability to edit options in Custom Fields without having to delete the entire CF
A

Users are forced to delete or archive the custom field if they want to edit the details for the CF, since the options are grayed out. It will be helpful to campaign owners if they can edit the options without having to delete/archive the CF itself.

Once I create a custom field, I would like to rename an option but I have to archive it and create the whole field all over again. Sometimes information changes and one slight change means I cannot delete or modify a field event if hasn’t been used. It’s a bit of a hassle. For example, sometimes we don’t have enough registered or any registered so we may lose a workshop. I have to delete the whole field and re-enter the whole field without that workshop on it, which meant I also had to go back and re-enter all the other workshops that people have registered for. It would be great if this could be accomplished soon.

Edit custom fields on tickets (instead of delete/archive)

I would like the ability to edit custom fields on tickets, even before any ticket is sold. Currently, once a custom field is saved, the option to edit it is no longer available. It would be helpful to have the flexibility to make changes to custom fields to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

This would be very helpful. Especially looking for this in contact custom fields.

Hoping this can be implemented in tickets, too!

This absolutely needs to get done as a priority! The custom fields are critical to us - they were originally set up with internal admin labels just to get us started and now need to be expanded to use as merge fields in donor emails - right now I'll need to add all new fields them manually edit hundreds of contact records. Very disappointed and unimpressed to learn that they are not editable - seems like a basic need!

This needs to be done! The custom fields are critical to us. When I was initialing setting them up, I must have had to delete the custom field, including all the options I set up, at least 5 times. Another thing that would be helpful is to alphabetize the options. I had to delete the custom field and enter them in alphabetical order to get them to appear that way. So far this is my only 'gripe' with Givebutter. Otherwise, loving it!

I second the other comment made here! I've also run into error messages even after archiving and trying to recreate custom fields for tickets.
