Currently, admins can edit and change a selected value/option in a custom field, but once a value is selected, there's no option to remove it entirely. For example, we have a custom field that allows someone to select something from a predefined list of options in a drop down. If the donor selects something and later doesn't want that selection, there's no way for admins to return that value to the original "no selection" state. For now, our workaround was to add a "None" option and manually toggle to that via our Dashboard. I'd rather be able to clear the value and revert to no-value state in that field. That would also prevent us from needing to list "None" or Not applicable" in our custom field options.
