Oh my gosh, yes, we need this! It's basic fundraising practice to segment supporters and the idea we cannot use exclusions to segment is maddening.

I'd love to see some action on this. This is basic databased filtering functionality and should be easy to implement. And & Or are already there. We just need Not!

I'm not sure if my vote will have much value after reading all of the comments. I agree with all. But I noticed that this request was started in December 2022. Does anyone know how many votes are needed to make a change. I have used GiveButter Donation page feature on my website for a while. However, I am just trying out all of the other features (fundraising page, email marketing, etc.) to determine if I want to upgrade and have all tools in one place. However, it took me several days over chat to figure out how to send an email and exclude certain contacts who have already donated to the fundraiser. The "Tag" and "Segment" options are very time consuming.

Via a company donation vs individual, there’s so many use cases where this would be necessary. And having the filters be more flexible - some are just search fields which does nothing when trying to segment donors because you’re not going to search one by one..

Truly cannot operate our organization without this capability. Major high-value use cases including segmented donor engagement, event invitations, regional outreach, and more. This is a basic functionality for any other CRM and unfortunately has me looking at moving to a different tool.

This is basic functionality that makes the email tool near useless to use. Both the AI chatbot and the live support were both misinformed about the feature as well.
