When adding a relationship between two contacts (e.g., husband ↔ wife or spouse ↔ spouse), Givebutter should automatically create the reciprocal relationship on the other contact. Right now, reciprocal relationships require extra steps through households, including creating and naming a household and manually adding both contacts. This adds friction for users who want to track relationships without managing households. Automatically reciprocating common relationships would make contact management faster, simpler, and more intuitive.
